The Nepal Irrigation project in the village of Lahachowk is back up and running after being shut down due to COVID and the delay in negotiations with the expanded government project centre. The ICO field lead would not commit money until the new local government also dedicated money and received committed volunteers to make the irrigation expansion a go. The latest project captures water that normally would cause flooding of houses during the monsoon season and directs it to the fields where the water is needed.
