Unfortunately, progress on our projects at the New School are on hold. More COVID-19 cases in San Antonio Palopo now, have meant that the school has been closed and the children are given assignments to turn in each week.

We are still waiting for resolution of the problems with electricity at the school. This means that work on the computer lab is on hold, as is the selection and installation of a copier/printer.

We are happy that many of the children who normally attend the school are coming to La Casita for help with their assignments, as well as getting an opportunity to learn and interact in a positive environment.

We are keeping our fingers crossed that the electricity issues and COVID closures will be resolved as soon as possible. At this time, we are not looking for more donations for the New School.
