The coronavirus hit Guinea in March and continues to spread. Lockdown measures were put in place to curb the spread, and schools reopened on June 29.  We continued to send funds for teachers and staff to ensure income continuity during the school closure. 

Dr. Ousmane Doré, Director General for the Central Africa Regional Development and Business Delivery Office for the African Development Bank, came to Kobian to donate hand washing kits to the school including buckets, bleach and soap to help fight the epidemic.

So far, we have not had any reports of villagers affected by the virus.
