Vietnam Education Initiative Update – December 2025 Newsletter
Happy Holidays to you and yours!

I am pleased to share some project updates with you through our December newsletter. Although 2025 has gone by quickly for me, so much has happened over the last 12 months both with the Vietnam Education Initiative and in my personal life.

Adding my two trips together I spent half of 2025 in Vietnam and half of the year at home in Campbell River. Mark and I will be heading to Vietnam at the end of this month. We will spend a little over two weeks visiting a group of new students, we will attend a wedding of an alumni of the VEI who we personally sponsored, and we will connect with various partners and students in Hanoi.

Mark will return home on January 16th and I will stay until February 3rd, and accompany my brothers and my 91 year old mother back to Canada. My siblings and I accompanied my mom back to Vietnam in August, and she has thoroughly enjoyed her time there, but she is ready to come home and spend the rest of her days in Campbell River.

Thank you for partnering with us to make education more accessible to disadvantaged children and youth in Vietnam. Together we are making a HUGE difference in the lives of students and their families.

May this season bring you peace, joy, and laughter!
