How We Are Organized
"Innovative Communities" are the result of the interactions of ICO Friends around the World with ICO Centres, who provide services, supports and sharing with the World rich resources of experience.
ICO Friends includes those who we are privileged to assist and share in friendship, those that support us and also our pro-bono ICO Team Members.
- Council of ICO Friends consists of a representative from each group of friends based on geographic location. There are also two Directors on the Board of ICO who represent all ICO Friends.
- Secretariat (provides support to the Council of ICO Friends)
ICO Centres are the service arm to the organization and provide specialized services and functions. The Centres are organized by functional Groups and staffed by pro-bono volunteer Team Members who share their talents, knowledge and expertise. Team Members with three months service are entitled to become voting members of the Foundation upon application, provided they maintain active status.
The Succession Plan for ICO calls for the ICO Centres below to all report directly to the Chief Operating Officer by 1 May 2015 except for the Finance and Administration Centre which will report to the Chief Financial Officer. Dawn Robson and Jim Avery both have been elected to the Board and are in the transition phase from Group Leaders to Foundation Directors.
